Krabi is a city and a province in the south of Thailand. Phi Phi island, famous for the movie The Beach and Ko Lanta are two of the islands of the province. They are accessible from Krabi and Phuket as they are located in between the two places. It is a good option, if you want to travel to these few places, to go to Phuket, to take the ferry to Phi Phi (about 1.30 hour) and then go to Krabi by ferry also or vice versa. Phi Phi is a charming island that was devastated by the Stunami in 2004 but recovered since except the palm trees that miss in the center of the island. There is no car and you can see many fishes few meters from the shore. The atmosphere is good with its bars and restaurants on the beach.
Krabi owns few National Parks. This popular destination offers some beautiful beaches surrounded by cliffs and forests, giving a very nice landscape. |

- For the rock climbers, go to Railay Beach, between Krabi and Ao Nang, a famous place for its cliffs.
- Best beaches: Ao Nang and Railay Beach.
- Kayak and discover the caves on the Andaman Sea.
- Scuba diving & snorkeling.
- Sailing & windsurfing.
- Fishing cruise.
- Go to the islands Phi Phi and Lanta for a day or more.
