St Martin and St Maarten is one island shared between France and the Netherlands. This tropical tourist destination is located in the north east of the Caribbean. Each side has its own culture.
St Martin, the French side, has developed a high standard island with its luxury resorts and hotels with their private beaches and their gourmet restaurants. As a Duty free Tax island - on the both side, it's a shopping paradise, the latest French fashions and many other luxury items are found in the shops.
St Maarten, the Dutch side, more informal, owns a vibrating nightlife with its discotheques and casinos.
Tourist can travel to both side very easily.
The island owns 36 beautiful beaches with a clear blue water, perfect for all the beach activities.
