TRAVELERS REVIEW

AGADIR - Morocco

Hi there! We went to Agadir in April this year. Such a pleasant place. A large beach and many high standing hotels, with big gardens and spa. If you go there in spring, you might have a sunny and hot weather on the morning, but it's often windy (and sometimes a little bit cloudy) on the afternoon. So the best is to go to the beach on the morning, where you can try jet skiing, quad on the dunes or kite surfing. And thereafter you can visit the city on the afternoon. The most interesting to see are the soukh, the medina (you can easily spend a whole afternoon in both), and also the harbour and the kasbah upper the city (where you can do camel riding), or you can have a walk along the sea. For the evening, there are many casinos and restaurants close to hotels. Don't forget to taste Moroccan food (it's delicious!). Enjoy your trip!

SANTORINI - GREECE

Hello! Here is a report about Santorini (Greece). We went there last summer. This is a very beautiful island and we think that everybody who will go there would love it. Some villages overhang at the top of the impressive caldeira (maybe 400m high). The main towns (Fira and Oia) are very touristic, with lots of shops and restaurants, but they stay very attractive. There are also small villages which are more typical and less crowded. The best is to live in a B&B (in Santorini in summer, it's better to book 3 days before) in Fira, because it's the most central, and not too far from the harbor, or in Firostefani, which is close to Fira, but more quiet and very nice, over the caldeira too. The whole island is served by buses, but if you want to see more things during the day, it's better to rent a scooter (very cheap prices). You can also have boat excursions to the volcano and along the cliffs, and bathing in the sulfur hot sources and mud (one-day or a half-day trip); you can get information about these trips in the towns with several companies. About the weather, in summer it's of course sunny and quite hot (about 35°C) but not too much, and the sea is warm. Santorini is an island for visits, but if you are looking for beaches, this is not the best one (no beautiful sand, some beaches have black or red sand, or stones).
Don't miss the sunset on the caldeira, in Oia, or Firostefani. You can stay in Santorini for 3, 4 or 5 days, and then go to another island in the Cyclades (Naxos, Paros, Amorgos, Mykonos...).

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - THE CARIBBEAN

Dominican Republic is a friendly & amazing destination where you only need a swim wear for the day and a light cloth for the night. People travelling to this Caribbean island are young. We chose to spend the week in Bayahibe and we stayed at "Canoa hotel" which was as good as expected. We took the package all included (accommodation + full board meal) that was good as you don't get a bad surprise at the end of the holiday. You know what I mean?
The beach was very nice with a white powder sand. I did snorkeling and I discovered colorful fishes. We really feel welcome by the Dominicans who like to party.
We did some excursions that let us the opportunity to swim with stingrays and sharks. We also discover the tropical rain forest, it was a wonderful experience, it is so quiet.
We usually don't go twice to the same place for our holiday but Republic Dominican could become the exception.
Delph & Beber.
